We are seeking an experienced and pragmatic Frontend Tech Lead (Web) to drive the frontend engineering efforts across our web development team. You will lead a cross-functional frontend team, own the technical direction of our web stack, and partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and secure user experiences in a regulated fintech environment.

This role is for a hands-on leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong mentorship skills and a product mindset. You will set engineering standards, iterate on architecture, and ensure the team ships features that meet business goals and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Technical Mastery & Architecture:

  • At least 5+ years of deep production work in the React + TypeScript ecosystem.

• Proven knowledge of TypeScript.

• System Design & Future Proofing:

  • Proven track record of designing scalable frontend architectures from scratch. You don't just "use" frameworks; you build systems (e.g., FSD, Module Federation, Monorepos) that remain maintainable as the team grows

• Engineering Excellence:

  • Advanced skills in performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, memory management) and security. You are the "Last Line of Defense" for code quality.

  • Ability to write clean, self-documented code.

• State Management Deep Dive:

  • Expert knowledge of Redux Toolkit or MobX, with the ability to justify the choice based on data flow complexity and team velocity.

• Strong product mindset:

  • You think beyond implementation and care about user experience, business context, and product impact.

• Skilled in technical research:

  • Evaluating trade-offs, testing hypotheses, and making data-driven architectural decisions.

• Effective collaborator across cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend, QA):

  • You communicate clearly and drive alignment.

• High Autonomy & Ownership:

  • You don't ask "Can I do this?". You say, "I am implementing X because ..., and here is the plan."

• Strategic Decision Making:

  • You choose technologies based on business value (cost of support, scalability, speed of delivery) rather than trends.

• Mentorship & Quality Gates:

  • Experience in setting up engineering standards (CI/CD, automated testing, TDD) so that the CTO no longer needs to review frontend code.

• Self-motivated and responsible:

  • You enjoy autonomy, and take full ownership of the development process.

• Curious about blockchain technologies and eager to deepen your understanding of crypto, and network mechanics. 

• English proficiency at least Upper-Intermediate. Fluent in the Russian language.

Nice to have

• Proven working experience in open-source projects;

• Hands-on experience in NodeJS and Java;

• Familiarity with blockchain;

• Experience in MUI, NextJS, redux-toolkit, Storybook, and Lerna.
